The fourth and final season of The attack of the Titans explores major uncharted territory for the Scout Regiment, with their dearest friend Eren Jaeger splitting the bottom and deciding to unleash the power of Rumbling on the world. As the people of Paradis try to figure out if they should support the Jaegerists and the new Founding Titan, it looks like some of Eren’s old friends are teaming up to choose a new path and the next episode has released a new summary for giving fans an idea of what to expect next.
Eren, Mikasa, Jean, and Connie definitely had their “Avengers Assemble” moment in the latest episode of the The attack of the Titans, seemingly extending an olive branch to Annie and Reiner, the female, armored titans who had previously caused so much pain to the citizens of Paradis. Now, with both sides having an unfortunate common enemy in Eren Jaeger, it looks like the next installment of Studio MAPPA’s anime adaptation is looking to bury the hatchet by the campfire, and there’s certainly no of love lost between the Survey Corps and the warriors of Marley.
The official synopsis of the eighty-fourth episode of The attack of the Titans, published on the anime’s official websitereads as follows:
“Before the war, there was our enemy. We hated, despised and killed each other. Beyond the bonfire, there are now those who have a different “righteousness”.
Currently, the future of The attack of the Titans The anime is unclear when the anime adaptation will end, with only a handful of episodes left in the second half of the final season. With the dark anime franchise set to play a part in Anime Japan this month, fans have begun to wonder if the final battle for the Scout Regiment could be told on the big screen rather than the small screen. While nothing has been confirmed, it certainly doesn’t look like the second half of the final season will run out of enough installments to cover the final battle of this Titan War.
