Brazos Valley Symphony Orchestra Launches 10th Annual Premiere Market Fundraiser

The event features everything from clothing bags, knives and chocolate, and these shoppers can purchase items for men, women and children.

BRYAN, Texas – The Brazos Valley Symphony Orchestra kicked off its tenth annual Premiere Market fundraiser on Friday.

The organization said the event takes place in the spring, but was able to host it during the Christmas season this year as the time had opened for them to host it around Christmas. Jennifer Fredericks, president of Premiere Market, said the event typically attracts thousands of shoppers and customers each year.

According to Fredericks, the event features everything from clothing bags, knives and chocolate, and these shoppers can purchase items for men, women and children.

According to Fredericks, the event money goes to future programs for the organization, including some of their children’s programs. Fredericks said the organization is bringing children from across the Brazos Valley to see live music, some of them for the first time in their lives.

“We are bringing kids from all over the county and some from out of the county and they will come to a concert. Some of them are their first time in a reception hall and for some it’s the first time to see live music, so it’s pretty exciting, ”Fredericks said.

If you would like to attend this event, it will take place on Saturday, December 4 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and admission is $ 5.00.

The organization also mentioned that Santa will be making an appearance to meet the kids while parents have time to shop. For this event, Fredericks advised parents to go to premieremarket.org to reserve their spot for their little one.
