Free Roswell Symphony Concert as part of First Friday Offers

The first Friday of this month will be themed “Hot Downtown Weather” as traders prepare for the upcoming Chilean Cheese Festival later this month.

First Fridays are coordinated by MainStreet Roswell and aim to bring people downtown for shopping, dining and entertainment.

She’s a Dandy at 302 N. Main St. will be welcoming animals from Runyan Ranches Rescue from 5 to 8 p.m. Main Street Arts / The Gallery at 223 N. Main St. will feature children’s crafts and live music.

Additionally, the Roswell Symphony Orchestra will be holding a free concert featuring the University of Texas Faculty Brass Band at El Paso on the lawn of the Chaves County Courthouse starting at 6 p.m.

Many Main Street merchants will be offering promotions and discounts. A full list of participating merchants and their opening hours for the First Friday will soon be posted on the MainStreet Roswell Facebook page, www.facebook.com/MainStreetRoswell/.
