Junji Ito’s Horror World Comes To Life In Next Year’s Netflix Anime Series Junji Ito Maniac: Tales of the Macabre, which adapts several short stories from the award-winning creator’s extensive catalog. Today, more of the cast of “The Strange Hikizuri Siblings: The Séance” adaptation, which comes from the fifth chapter of the 13th volume of the Junji Ito’s Horror World collections, were revealed on the official website of the series.

Hajime Iijima (Gakushu in Ikki Tousenlisten)) as Shigoro, the second son
Risa Shimizu (Angelica in Rock Show!!listen)) as Narumi, the second daughter
Ayaka Asai (Monique in Black Rock Shooter: Dawn Falllisten)) as Hitoshi, the third son

Look for Junji Ito Maniac: Tales of the Macabre to premiere on Netflix in 2023. Ito’s work has previously inspired the Junji Ito collection anime in 2018, and an adaptation of its Uzumaki manga is currently in the works for Adult Swim.
