Production and DJ duo Obskür have released their latest single, “The Dark”.
It fell on Friday via RSRF Records and is in collaboration with DJ and singer Bklava.

“The Dark” is an infectious house track, which incorporates the duo’s signature sampling. Bklava’s voice layers over the melody to bring the melody together to create what Obskür dubs their “favorite production we’ve ever worked on”.
“We had always noticed Bklava through playlists and listening to BBC R1 and thought his voice would suit one of our tracks,” they add. “We found out she was up for the project, and after a bit of rewriting, we sent her the lyrics.
“It was the easiest collaboration we’ve ever done. The voices we got back were phenomenal, you honestly can’t fault her work, she’s so sick. It’s been a year of preparation, and to say that we are delighted would be a huge understatement! »

Obskür have honed their sound over the past few years, combining hard 909s with hip-hop samples and raw elements as well. They performed these sounds at parties such as Tokyo World, Detonate and The Warehouse Project.
