Unfortunately, all this did not deter the spread of the disease. In 2020, Newton-John was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer.
For three decades, Newton-John kept a refreshed mind while championing enlightening audiences through various techniques.
She spoke about her experiences, sharing with the audience how she frequented plants and herbs. At the same time, the actress devoted herself to cancer research.
In 2015, she founded the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Wellness and Research Center in Australia. The center worked hand in hand with a local hospital in the area and the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Research Institute.
Newton-John desperately sought to bring healing to the world through his programs and his way of life. So while she was funding the research, she tried several alternative medicines and hoped they would work for everyone.
This Amazon dedicated thirty years of her life to fighting disease, and she wanted the world to know that she was helpless. She says:
“I live beyond. I love beyond. I sing beyond. And I want that for everyone.”
Sadly, on August 8, 2022, she passed away at her Southern California ranch. Her husband, John Easterling, shared in a statement that relatives surround the actress. He concluded by adding:
“Olivia has been a beacon of triumphs and hope for over 30 years, sharing her journey with breast cancer.”
Fans were devastated by the news. They went online to pay tribute to the heroic actress who lived a life of service to her loved ones and the world at large.

The “No Pain” singer, who admitted their wedding was delayed because “we’re just lazy,” said their upcoming wedding was described as a private matter, with only family members gathering.
In 2019, Newton-John shared his feelings about his daughter’s marriage. She gushed about the couple, hinting that she couldn’t wait to become a grandmother, even though there was no specific date for the wedding yet.
A month after her mother’s death, Lattanzi shocked her fans by sharing that the Grammy winner had blessed her marriage. The 36-year-old uploaded a rare video to Instagram showing the wedding ceremony in the Bahamas many years ago.
The minute-long clip revealed the couple dressed in white holding hands and sharing their vows near the shores of a wavy beach. Olivia, who was the only family member present, presided over the ceremony. The caption of Lattanzi’s post showed that she was grateful to her mother for being present at the intimate event. He read:
“It was one of the most precious moments of my life. Years ago in the Bahamas, I asked my beautiful mom to marry me to this amazing man. Thank you, mom, for everything.”
