Sanjay Manjrekar is a person who speaks very loudly about his thoughts on social media. The cricketer-turned-commentator has garnered attention with his opinions on social media on numerous occasions.
And now Manjrekar has opened up and said the social media platform Twitter is a double-edged sword. He also said there had been numerous occasions when Twitter had not served him well.
Manjrekar further admitted that social media is a beast and that he has yet to be able to tame or fully understand it. He concluded by stating that he’s still trying to figure out the dynamics of social media.
âTwitter is a double-edged sword. It has served me well on several occasions and has not served me well on several occasions. Now at this point when you sort of balance it out, I think it did me more harm than good.
âSocial media has been a beast that I haven’t been able to tame or understand. I’ve tried different techniques, but I’m still trying to understand the dynamics of social media, âManjrekar said in a conversation with ESPN Cricinfo.
Sanjay Manjrekar’s recent comments on Ravichandran Ashwin criticized him a lot
Sanjay Manjrekar had recently estimated that the Indian spinner Ravichandran Ashwin is not an absolute excellent in the Test format. Ashwin is the 4th biggest wicket taker for India in testing and has already scalped a whopping 409 wickets among whites.
Manjrekar had further stated that only Sir Don Bradman, Sir Garfield Sobers, Sunil Gavaskar, Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli can be considered greats of all time. And, this comment from Manjrekar received a lot of attention, and the cricketer turned commentator drew a lot of criticism and faced the heat for his comments on Ashwin.
