Sanjay Manjrekar’s recent comments on Ravichandran Ashwin criticized him a lot

Sanjay Manjrekar had recently estimated that the Indian spinner Ravichandran Ashwin is not an absolute excellent in the Test format. Ashwin is the 4th biggest wicket taker for India in testing and has already scalped a whopping 409 wickets among whites.

Manjrekar had further stated that only Sir Don Bradman, Sir Garfield Sobers, Sunil Gavaskar, Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli can be considered greats of all time. And, this comment from Manjrekar received a lot of attention, and the cricketer turned commentator drew a lot of criticism and faced the heat for his comments on Ashwin.

“All-time great” is the highest praise and recognition given to a cricketer. Cricketers like Don Bradman, Sobers, Gavaskar, Tendulkar, Virat, etc. are all-time greats in my book. With all due respect, Ashwin isn’t here like an all-time greats yet, ”Manjrekar tweeted.
